✎ Progression Scheme
The progression scheme provides you the opportunity to receive an additional 16-UCAS-point-deduction should you meet the eligibility criteria.

To qualify for the scheme you must:

- Meet one of the eligibility criteria

- Attend an Open Day (or other qualifying event)
- Engage with one of the webinars above
- Complete a task after you attend a webinar

Please note: There are exceptions for some courses e.g. BSc Clinical Sciences (only an 8 UCAS-point-deduction will be applied) and Foundation in Clinical Sciences and Medicine (excluded from this scheme).

 
You can check eligibility for the low participation neighbourhood criteria using the Office for Students postcode look-up; applicants who have a postcode which is classed ‘Polar 4 Quintile’ 1 or 2, will be eligible for the Progression Scheme.
